Do SGR and the Natural Laws of the Universe apply to children? Yep!
Last weekend I visited my 4 year old grandnephew and godson. He lives in another state and I do not often have an opportunity to visit him. While visiting I spent quite a bit of time with him, including an evening of babysitting. Not having children of my own I have not done much babysitting since I was a teenager. Not to age myself, it was the day when we were grateful to earn 35¢ an hour!
Having studied the SGR Home Study Course I decided that I wanted to put the Natural Laws of the Universe and other principles into practice and focus my interaction to be a very positive one.
Several of the concepts floated up for me. The Law of Relativity where nothing is good or bad, it just is. So often we seek to compare whatever to something else and that is when we get into trouble. So my focus was to be as present and appreciate what he presented to me without judgment and without criticism.
The Law of Polarity where everything has an opposite – hot and cold; inside and outside; up and down – coupled with the Law of Vibration (which is the foundation for the Law of Attraction). I understood if I would focus on the positive, expecting positive would come back. This I discovered was more difficult than I thought because we often find ourselves saying “no” or “don’t” a lot – even more than we realize.
The Law of Cause and Effect states whatever you send into the Universe comes back. Action and the corresponding reaction are equal and opposite. So if I say all good things to him I will receive the payback. I understand that it is very important not to stretch the truth, but when we focus on what we say, there are many times that we have an opportunity to select what we say and do. For example, I chose to thank him for putting the truck back in the corner rather than getting upset that he was throwing his blocks at the dog.
I had a great time with him … and was able to learn more about myself, as well as how applicable these Natural Laws of the Universe are to everything! I look forward to my next visit with him.
